Where does inventory come from?
Erin spends countless hours each week attending estate sales and garage sales and scouring through bins to find items. She frequently travels to Louisiana to visit her mother and is always on the hunt there. Erin is passionate about traveling in general and never stops searching, even while seeing the world. Her favorite store is “the curb”.
Will Millie’s be associated with Tallulah and Stella’s Estate business?
No. Erin will continue to shop at the Tallulah and Stella’s Estate sales just like the rest of you but will not have an affiliation with that business.
Does Millie’s take consignment?
At this time, we do not.
Will Millie’s will continue to partner with the Cross Plains community to provide charitable donations?
YES, Erin will join forces with a different community organization each month and share some of the proceeds from the store.
Are there any changes coming to Millie’s?
On the whole, Millie’s will stay the same – same name, location, social media platforms, variety of goods, and price points. Millie’s will be open on Mondays and will be open an hour longer each day. We will be adding more upcycled furniture and art and hope to offer reading and art classes for all ages. We hope to entice people to think of vintage and thrift stores first when shopping for birthdays, weddings, baby showers, and redecorating essentials. Erin is happy to assist with home design using salvaged pieces as well.
Will Millie’s have what I’m looking for?
That is the top goal. If we don’t have it, Erin will find it organically. That is her passion.
